Dear Mr. Just,
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on June 30, 1994 regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, J.M.O. Consulting on behalf of ROBERT E. PATTERSON
applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permitunder the
provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold,
application dated April 5, 1994,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said aPPlication on June 30, 1994 at which time all ·
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,~and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the Surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS,~the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW T~HEREFOREBE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
ROBERT E. PATTERSON to construct guest rooms, terrace, walk,
deck, platforms and to install additional drl;weli in existing
sanitary system. All construction activity shall take place on
what is now lawn area. All construction activity shall take
place a minimum of 55' from freshwater wetlands. A continuous
line of staked hay bales shall beinstalled prior to and
maintained during all phases of construction activities and an
area of "no disturbance" shall be maintained. All activity as
per enclosed plans as prepared by Chandler, Palmer, & King last
dated February 16, 1994. Located Crescent Ave., Fishers Island.
Permit will expire two years from the ~ate it is signed. Fees
must bepaid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months
of the date of this notification. Two inspections are required
and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said
project.

ROBERT CALHOUN JR. 3-2-2 to construct a swimming pool. terrace, stairs,
decking and pool backwash all at a point greater than 75' from existing tidal
wetlands line. To install a sanitary system as per SCDHS standards at a point
greater tha~ 125' from existing tidal wetlands line. To truck in approximately
200 c.y. of clean fill for regrading and the installation of a stone (pervious)
parking area on what 'is now a dirt parking area approximately 40~ from existing
tidal wetlands line. Parking area shall be in the same footprint as existing
parking area. existing catch basin shell be utilized or reconstructed. Entire
limits of construction shall be enveloped by a continuous line of stated hay
bales which shall be installed prior to and maintained during all periods of
construction activity,

RESOLVED to recommend Lo the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
of the Wetland Application of WERTZ. PETER 88-6-15 to clear land and
construct a one family structure with septic and leaching pools. Property to
be graded and planted with appropriate shrubs, grasses and trees to protect
and prevent erosion and loss of soil.

RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
of the Wetland Application of NEW SUFFOLK SHIPYARD 117-5-29.1 to demolish
an existin9 boat storage and replace with a smaller metal building. New
structure to be further from water than existing building (56' vs. 33') and
will have drywells which present structure does not have. Remainder of area
