Dear Mr. Just:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during
their regular meeting held on February 14, 1991 regarding your
request to amend the above permit.
RESOLVED that the Town Trustees Approve the request of J.M.O.
Consulting on behalf of Robert E. Patterson to amend permit number
3868 to state the following:

moved 10' east of the 10' contour line, as recommended by the

Construct two guest rooms, gravel path, and to install one
additional 6' drywell at existing sanitary system. Proposed guest
rooms will be serviced by existing sanitary system. There shall
minimal regrading and no fill shall be trucked in. This permit is
all in accordance with the detailed specifications es presented in
the originating application, subject ~o the following conditions:

part of the consideration for the issuance of the Permit does understand and proscribe to the fol-
lowing:
1. That the said Board of Trustees and the Town of Southold are relnssed fre~a any and
aH damages, or cl~im~ for dalllag~, Of shits arisillg directly or indirectly as a remd~ of any oper-
ation performed pursuant to this permit, and the said permitxee will, at his or her own expense~
defend any and ail such suits initiated by third parties, and the said Permitter nssumes fall liability
with respect thereto, to the complete exclnsion of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Sou&oki
2. That this Permit is valid for a period of 24 mos. which is considered to be the
estimated time required to complete the work involved, but should circumstances warrant, request
for an extension may be made to the Board at a later date.
3. That this Permit should be retained indefinitely, or as long ns the said Permlttee wishes
to maintain the structure or project involved, to provide evidence to anyone concerned that auth-
orization was originally obtained.
4. That .the work involved will be subject to the inspection and approval of the Board or
its agents, and non-compliance with the provisions of the originating application, may be cause for
revocation of this Permit by resolution of the said Board.
5. That there will be no unreasonable interference with navigation as a result of the work
herein authorized.
6. That there shall be no interference with the right of the public to pass and repass along
the beach between high and low water marks.
7. That if future operations of the Town of &>uthold require the removal and/or alterations
in the location of the work herein authorized, or if, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, the
work shall cause unreasonable~obstmct~on to free navigation, the said Permitter will be ~equl~.~
upon due notice, to remove or alter this work or project herein stated without expenses to the Town
of Southold.
8. That the said Board will be notified by the Permitter ot the completion of the work auth-
orbed.

Dear Mr. Just:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during
its regular meeting held on September 27, 1990 regarding the above
matter:
WHEREAS, J.M.O. Consulting IN BEHALF OF Robert E. Patterson
applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the
provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold,
application dated June 11, 1990 and,
WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations,
and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect
to said application on September 27, 1990 at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar
with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of
the town,
NOW, THEREFORE BE iT
RESOLVED THAT J.M.O. Consulting ON BEHALF OF Robert E. Patterson BE
AND HEREBY IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER THE WETLAND ORDINANCE TO:
Construct two guest rooms, gravel path and to install one additional
6' dr~well at existing sanitary 'system. Proposed quest rooms will
be serviced by existing sanitary system. There shall be minimal
regrading and no fill shall be trucked in. This permit is subject to
the following conditions : drywells, gutters, and leaders are to
be incorporated to contain run off and said project is to be moved
10' east, as recommended by the CAC.
This permit will expire two years from the date it is signed if work
has not commenced by said date. Fees must he'paid, if aDplicable,
and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification. Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to
be notified upon completion of said project.
Please return to the Building Department for a determination on the
need for any other permits which may be required for this project.
Permit will be issued upon payment of the following fees for work to
be done below Mean High Water Mark:

RESOLVI~D to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees disapproval of Wetland
Application No, 7-6-90-111-1-16 of Frank and Sandra Curran to construct an
accessory building. The CAC recommends disapproval because project is within
3' of the water, it will impact the environment, the Council has concerns about
water contamination which may occur from materials (gas, fertilizers, etc.) being
stored so close to the water; and the lot coverage is excessive.

RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with stipulations
of Wetland Application No. 8-1-90-31-12-16 of Eugene Perino to construct steps,
ramp and dock. The CAC approves provided the platform and dock are properly
elevated.

RESOVI_ED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with stipulations
of Wetland Application No. 6-~-90-6-1-I0 of Robert E. Patterson to construct two
guest rooms, gravel path and to install one additional 6' drywell at existing sanitary
system. There is to be minimal regrading. The CAC recommends approval provided
the project is moved approximately 10' east of the 10' contour line (project is
presently proposed within 50' of a freshwater wetland.)
