The followin~ action was taken by the Board of Towm Trustees during
its regular meeting held on May 28, !992 regarding the above matter:
F/HEREAS~ En-Consuitants on behalf of Murray Klapper applied to the
Southold Town Trustees for a pe~it under the provisions of the
Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Seuthold, application dated April
23~ 1992 an~
~qEI~AS said application was referred to the Southold Town
Censervation Advisor7 Council for their findings and recoramendations~
and~
WHEREAS, a p~lic hearing was held by the Town T~ste~s with respoct
to said application on ~ay 28~ !9~2 at which t~e alt interested
persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and~
~ER~ the Board meK~ers have personally viewed and are f~miliar
with the premises in ~estion and the surro~ding area~ and~
~E~ the Board has considered all the testimony and doc~entation
s~mitted concernin~ this application, and,
~ER~ the Board has datelined that the project as proposed will
not affect the hoa!th~ safety and general welfare o~ the people of
the to~

RESOLED tkat the Board of Trustees approves the application of
Salvatore Passalac~a to construct 150+/- l~f~ of stone-a~ored
timber retaining wall plus (2) 20+/~ l.f. returns. Backfill with 600+
c.y. of clean s~n~ ~o ba trucked in~ Proposed watt will ~ 8' l0~
from toe of slope~ dep~ndin~ upon presence of large boulders on and
under beach. Face of bluff will be vegetated according to ~nc!ose~
pan upon c~pletion~ A four foot wide stairway will be Constructed
from top of bluff to retainin~ wall; and second ~ wide staidly
built from top of retainin~ wall to beach~
This permit will expire'two years from the date it is signed. Fees
must be paid, if applicable_~ and permit issued within six months
of the date of this notification. Two inspections are required and
the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project~
Permit will be'issued upon pa!a~ent of the following fees for work to

Recommendation of Wetland Applications
The following recommendations were made by the CAC at its meetin9
held Tuesday, April 28, 1992:
On a motion by Bruce Loucka. seconded by Stephen AngelI, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with
st!pulations_ the application of Vi_I~_inia Rumbpler 75-1-5 to install
a bulkhead and backfill. The CAC recommends approval provided the
applicant plant an appropriate vegetative buffer.

Vote of Council: Ayes: All
Motion carried.
On a motion by Bruce Loucka, seconded by Stephen Angell, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees a_p_~roval with
stipulations the application of Michael Maher 111-9-3 to construct bulkhead,
stairs, etc. The CAC recommends approval provided the applicant instatt
a dryweil for draining the hot tub and, if not being done already, install
a drywall for the swimming pool.

Motion carried.
On a motion by Stephen AngeH, seconded by John McCormick, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees _approval with
stipulations of the application of Savvas Milienos by Sidney Olmstead
1~,-7-14.~ to construct a dock, ramp and float. The CAC recommends
approval provided the project does not impinge the neighbor's navigation.

It is my/our understanding that we are to maintain this
structure with materials designed to endure 30 years and or
equivalent to the original approved structure and that for any
maintenance which involves more than 5% in length of this
structure we are to give prior written notice to the
administrator, waiting for their approval in all but true
emergency situation's which would seriously endanger life,
property and important coastal natural resource features such as
bluffs or wetlands. We further understand that failure to
maintain the structure could result in a requirement to post a
bond and or have the repairs ordered as a lien against the
property upon a finding by the Trustees that said lack of
maintenance would risk life, property or important natural
resources features including protected_, rare or threatened
