The certificate must show: 1) The official title of office to be filled. 2) The term of office in years. 3) Any unexpired terms to be filled and the number of years of the unexpired term. In addition to the above,please be advised, that in accordance with Section 4-108.1(b) of the New York State Election Law, September 28, 2018, is the last day for the Clerk of any County, Town or Village to transmit to the Board of Elections a certified copy of any proposal, proposition or referendum to be voted for in the upcoming General Election (at least thirty-six days prior to the Election).
