We recently received a summons for a violation regarding removal of vegetation within 100 feet of wetlands. As new residents, we were not familiar with the Wetlands Law of the Town of Southold. We thought we were merely clearing some debris from the property. We are now very aware of the laws and will do what is necessary to remedy the violation. We were advised by Diane DiSalvo to apply for this inspection and also submit a wetlands application with a restoration plan. We will be available at the provided date of Tuesday March 13th to meet the Trustees at our property. We also give permission to the Trustees to be on the property at that time. Enclosed is our$50 application fee.
