July 11, 1979 Southold Town Board Town Hall Southold, New York 11971 Gentlemen: The following action was taken by the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council at a regular meeting held June 26, 1979: RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board denial of Wetland Application #39 for Thomas and Jacqueline Occhiogrosso to fill property and erect dwelling on property designated as Lot #28 of Corey Creek Estates due to the fact that a leaching field would be very difficult to establish and there is damage to the wetland area. A new application would be considered with the following recommendations: 1. Test borings be made to insure that the house would have proper support so it won't sink. 2. The house be on sufficient pilings to support its weight. 3. Ground floor of house be eighteen inches over any existing growth o 4. A solution for the leaching field could be obtained. There was a unanimous vote of the Council in the affirmative. This application is to be completely filled in by typewriter or ink and submitted to the Tc~wn Clerk in quadruplicate, accompanied by writter' permission from the owner of the property if not the same as the applicant. B. Pilot Piton must be drawn to scale on the reverse side of this application showing the location of property, the names and locations of owners of adjoining properties, and a detailed description of proposed project. (Note: Copies of the Pilot Plan may be made by a copy machine and attached to the Permit Application.) C. No operation shall be initiated by the applicant until all permits that are required are issued. D. A detailed statement of the rehabilitation and proposed condition of the premises after the work is comoleted must be given, including o survey if required. E. if permit is being sought for c more sizeable excavation ~han the construction of a private single dock or jetty, then this application must be accompanied by a survey and topographical map certified by a registered land survey or Professional Engineer. The horizontal control of survey shall be based upon an approval Ioca,l coordinate system. The vertical control for elevation and sound- ings shall be basedupon United States Coast and Geodetic Survey and/or United States Geological Survey datum F. A statement must accompany the application describing any known prior operations conducted on the premises in question and whether any prior licenses or permits have been issued to erect structures or ~o dredge or deposit fill on said premises and whether a,ny such permits or licenses were ever revoked or suspended by a governmental agency. G. A filing fee of $25.00 shall accompany the application. This filing fee includes one inspection. there ~s a $5.00 fee for each additional inspection. H. The Town Board upon request~)~_t~e applicant ~ a permit, may waive in whole 'or 'in par~, the provisions of Ar?icle II, Section/-~Jl~'subdivisions,~, and ~ where it finds that nature of the proposed operations are such that '~he requirements of such provisions are not necessary for a proper consideration of a permit application. !
