Last year we solicited a permit to "replenish the sand on the association beach by adding 250 cubic yards of sand to be graded out to 6" deep in an approximately 300' long by 45'wide area beginning at the parking lot and ending 20' landward of the average high water mark". We were granted permit#9183 on April 5, 2018 (copy attached) and completed the work by the end of April 2018 and were issued Certificate of Compliance#1467C (copy attached). Over the past year we have lost most, if not all,the sand that we added last year. We would like to try to improve the beach again this year or early next year by adding a similar amount of sand (250 cubic yards) but to concentrate the sand in half the area and make it twice as deep. In other words, the sand would be concentrated over an area approximately 150' long by 45' wide but be graded out to 12" deep. Based on the above and the attached documentation,we hereby request an "Administrative Amendment"to permit#9183 to "replenish the sand on the association beach by adding 250 cubic yards of sand to be graded out to 12" deep in an approximately 150' long by 45'wide area beginning at the parking lot and ending 20' landward of the average high water mark". Attached are two (2) copies of the proposed work as well as copies of the earlier permit. I would be very happy to answer any questions you might have.
