of Southold Town Trustees authorizes and permits the following:
Remove exist, pilings & catwalk, restructure floats to form a
float & build a single catwalk to access main float, add 6- 3' X
finger floats, project is reconfiguration not an expansion, with
condition that applicant replants the area with spartina
in accordance with the detailed specifications as presented in
and the originating application, ramps 6e stored & pieced on least
amount of land as possible meaning not in inter-tidal marsh area

Dear Mr. de Reeder,
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on September 29, 1994 regarding
the above matter:
WHEREAS, Edward L. de Reeder, on behalf of NUNNAKOMA WATERS
ASSOCIATION, applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit
under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of
Southotd, application dated July 19, 1994,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on September 29, 1994 at which time
all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
and,
WHEREASr the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and, ~
WHEREAS~ the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
NUNNAKO~A WATERS ASSOCIATION to remove existing pilings and
catwalk, restructure floats to form a single float and build a
single catwalk to access the main float, and add 6- 3' X 20'
finger floats. This project is a reconfiguration not an
expansion, and the condition that applicant replants the area
with spartina alterniflora and that floats & ramps be stored and
placed on the least amount of land as possible meaning not in
inter-tidal marsh area. Located Wampum Way & Wigwam Way,
$outhold~ NY 11971.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit
issued within six months of the date of this notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

Recommendation of Wetland Applications
A meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council was held
Thursday, August 18, 199~. Present were: Bruce 'Loucka, Chairman; Stephen
Angell, Member; Robert Keith, Member; Jack Hagerty, Member; Patricia
Isaksen, Member; and Allan Connell, Member. The following recommendations
were passed:
DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION OF WETLAND APPLICATIONS
No. 1178
Moved by Bruce Loucka, seconded by Jack Hagerty, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
of the Wetland Application of GEORGE STARKIE 57-1-7 to resheath 125'
bulkhead with shiplap planking from lower wale to 1' in canal bottom. Replace
two bulkhead pilings.

Moved by Robert Keith, seconded by Bruce Loucka, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
WITH CONDITIONS of the Wetland Application of NUNNAKOMA WATERS
ASSOCIATION . INC. to remove existing pilings and catwalks, restructure
floats to form a single float and build a single catwalk to access the main
float. Add six (6) 3' x 20' finger floats.
The CAC recommends approval provided the applicant replants the area
with spartlna alternlflora. Also, if applicant removes the 'floating docks
during the winter, that they be stacked and placed on the least amount of land
as possible.
