Trbstees TERMS and CONDITIONS The Permittee residing at Dorothy Nortl~rid~e 625 South Drive, Mattituck N.Y., as parr of the consideration for the is~mnce of the Permit does understand and prescribe to the fol- lowing: I. That the said Board of Trustees and the Town of Southold axe released from any a~d all damages, or claim~ for damages, of suits arising directly or indirectly as a result of may oper- ation performed pursuant to this permit, and the said Permit-tee will, at his or her own expense, defend any and all such suits initiated by third parties, and the said Permittee assumes full liability with respect thereto, ~to the complete exclusion of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Southold 2. That this Permit is valid for a period of 2 4 mos. which is considered to be the estimated time required to complete the work involved, but should circumstances warrant, request for an extension may be made to the Board at a later date. 3. That this Permit should be retained indefinitely, or as long as the said Permittee wishes to maintain the structure or project involved, to provide evidence to anyone concerned that anth- orization was originally obtained. 4. That the work involved will be subject to the inspection and approval of the Board or its agents, and non-compliance with the provisions of the originating application, may be c-vse for revocation of this Permit by resolution of the said Board. 5. That there will be no un_reasonable interference with navigation as a result of the work herein authorized. 6. That there shall be no interference with the right of the public to pass and repass along the beach between high and Iow water marks. 7. That ff future operations of the Town of Southold require the removal and/or alterations in the location of the work herein authorized, or if, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, the work shall muse unreasonable obstructxon to free navigation, the said Permittee will be requited, upon due notice, to remove or alter this work or project herein stated without expenses to the Town of Southold. 8. That the said Board will be notified by the Permittee m the completion of the work auth- orb. ed. 9. Box AK Greenport, NY 11944 Re: Dorothy Northridge SCTM %1000-106-11-24 Dear Mr. Costello: The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on October 3, 1991 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, JOHN COSTELLO ON BEHALF OF DOROTHY NORTHRIDGE applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated August 27, 1991 and, WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and, WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on , 1991 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the-Board has Considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT JOHN COSTELLO ON BEHALF OF DOROTHY NORTHRIDGE BE AND HEREBY IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER THE WETLAND ORDINANCE TO: replace deteriorated bulkhead, (62') construct new bulkhead 58' and 10' return attaching to existing bulkhead. Install 3 support batter piles to existing bulkhead. Approx. 30 yds of clean fill will be trucked in. Map dated September 11, 1991. This permit will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the ,~ate of this notification. Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project. Please return to the Building Department for a determination on the need for any other permits which may be required for this project. Southold Town Board of Trustees $outhold Town Conservation Advisory Council October 2, 1991 Recommendation of Wetland Applications JOr:; - 3 1991 ,fOWN OF SOUTHOLD The following recommendations were made by the CAC at its meeting held Thursday, September 26, 1991: On a motion by John Holzapfel, seconded by Bruce Loucka, it was RESOVLED to recommend to the Southol~l Town Trustees approval of Wetland Application No. 35-7-4 of Pauline Israel to construct a 4' x 12' catwalk, 3' x 10' ramp and 6' x 20' float. The CAC suggests everyone move to their own proper space. 12 Osprey Nest Road, Greenport Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. On a motion by Stephen Angell, seconded by Robert Keith, it was RESOVLED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees conditional approval of Wetland Application No.123-3-23 & 24 of Patrick Colaguiri to install, from an existing bulkhead, a 3' x 12' hinged ramp leading to a 6' x 30' float. Float to be secured by two sets of two pile dolphins. Approval is recommened provided the applicant provides written permission from the property owner. Bungalow Lane, Matttiuck Vote ,of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. On a motion by Bruce Loucka, seconded by Robert Keith, it was RESOVLED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with exceptions of WStland Application No. 71-2-8 and p/o 1.3 of George Koch to repair or replace, in kind, in place, existing bulkhead return and extend landward to an overall length of 30'. Repair 4' wide walk Jiandward of bulkhead. Appproximately 100 c.y. of clean sand for bulkheading. The Council recommends approval of the project with exception of the fill. The Council objects to the backfill because it will just wash into the channel. 530 Schooner Drive, Southold Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried.
