Pinkham North Fork Country club Main Road Cutchogue NY 11935 Re: SCTM 9109-4-7.1 Dear Mr. Pinkham, The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on September 30, 1993 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS~ NORTH FORK COUNTRY CLUB applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated December 10, i99~ and, WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and, WHEREAS~ a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on Thursday, September 30, 1993 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premisesin question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees approves the application of NORT~ FORK COUNTRY CLUB to construct the 16th tee and other operations as described in the enclosed projec~ description and survey dated as revised August 26, 1993, subject to the runoff be contained and native vegetation buffer areas be maintained and the 15th fee area B not to be disturbed at all on bank. Located ]~ain Road, Cutchogue. Permit will expire two years from the date it is sighed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project. New York 11971 SOUTHOLD TOWN CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL }OWN OF SOUTHO[[ TO: Southold Town Board of Trustees FROM: Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council DATED: August 24, 1993 RE: Recommendation of Wetland Applications The following recommendation were passed by the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council at its meeting held Thursday, August 19, 1993. Present at the meeting were Chairman John Holzapfel, Bruce Loucka, John Hagerty, and Pat Isaksen. Moved by John Holzapfel, seconded by Bruce Loucka it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL of the Wetland Application of CLEAVES POINT VILLAGE 38-7-4.2 I; 8 and 38.2-1-45 exisl~ing dock modification. The CAC recommends approval provided there is no increase in the number of slips. 2820 Shipyard Lane, East Marion Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. Moved by Bruce Loucka, seconded by John Holzapfel, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL WITH SUGGESTIONS of the Wetland Application of the MATTITUCK PARK DISTRICT 99-2-19.1 to repair east side of parking lot at Breakwater Beach which was storm damaged and to remove materials which were placed under lot. {Application a result of violation issued,, The Council recommends approval with the following suggestions: materials be removed and replaced properly; applicant may wish to realign, the present configuration does not provide the best protection. Mattituck Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. tVloved by John Holzapfel. second by Bruce Loucka. it was RESOLVED recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL of the Wetland Application of the NORTH FORK COUNTRY CLUB 109-~-7.1 to create new 16th teeing ground and fairway in wooded area 'lo the east of existing 15th green .and 16th fairway according to submitted plans. The Council recommends approval with the understanding that the runoff be contained and native vegetative buffer areas be maintained. Main Road, Cutchogue Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. Moved by Patricia Isaksen. seconded by John Hagerty. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL of the Wetland Application of LEON L. MUNIER 128-6-1 which is a Grandfather Permit for stairs and decks for bulkheads; deck and bathhouse approximately 12' x 40' located in between bulkheads. 4030 Peconic Bay Blvd.. Laurel Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. Moved by Patricia Isaksen. seconded by John Hoizapfel. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL of the Wetland Application of VICTOR CATALANO 128-6-13.3 to replace (within 18") 103 I.f. of timber bulkhead. Wall to be backfilled with 350 c.y. of clean backfill to be trucked in from upland source and delivered over owner's property. Remove an existing concrete stairway and replace with a 5' x 7' wood stairway. Property damaged by winter storms. The Council recommends approval and suggests the applicant may wish to tie in the adjacent bulkheads to create a solid line. Peconic Bay Boulevard. Laurel. Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. Moved by John Holpzalfel. seconded by Patricia Isaksen. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees DISAPPROVAL of the Wetland Application of ROBERT TAYLOR 126-6-9.1 to construct 58' of timber retaining wall no more that 2' in front of existing retaining wall. with a 30' return on' the east property line. Approximately 40 c.y. of clean backfill to be trucked in in from upland source. The Council recommends disapproval as submitted because there is plenty of room behind the existing seaward bulkhead (not retaining wall); the proposed plan would be 2' in front of adjacent western bulkhead which would create an angle, which can create erosion problems.' The Council also questions the MHw. it does not appear to be correct on the submitted plans. Sigsbee Road. Mattituck Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried.
