2. That this Permit is valid for a period of' 12 mos. which is considered to be the
estimated time required to complete the work involved, but should circumstances warrenr, request
for an extension may be made to the Board ar a later date.
3. That this Permit should be retained indefinitely, or as long as the said Permitree wishes
to maintain the structure or project involved, to provide evidence to anyone conceened that auth-
orization was originally obtained.
4. That .the work involved will be subject to the inspection and approval of the Board or
-.its agents, and non-complhnce with the provisions of the originating appHcadon, may be r~,,~e for
revocation of this Permit by resolution of the said Board.
5. That there will be no unreasonable interference with navigation as a remlt_of the work
herein authorized.
6. That there shall be no interference with the fight of the. public to pass and repass along
the beach between high and inw water marks.

in the location of the work herein authorized, or/f, in the opininn of the Board of Trustees, the
work shall cause unreasonable obstrUctaoo to free navigation, the said permi~tee will be requlred~
upon due notic~ to remove or alter this work or project herein stated without ex1~enses to the Town
of Southold. _
8. That the said Board will be notified by the Permktee oxthe completion of the work auth-
orlzed.
9. That the Permktee will obtain aH other permits and consents t. hat may be required
plemental to this permit which may be subject to revoke upon failure to obtai~ same.

Dear Mrs. Nash:
The following action was taken by the Board of Trustees during their
regular meeting held on August 28, 1986 regarding your wetland application.
Moved by Trustee Larsen seconded by Trustee Krupski
WHEREAS, Marlene R, Nash applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a
permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of
Southold,
application dated, June 20, 1986 and
WHEREAS said application was referred =o the Southold Town Conservation
Advisory Council for their findings and recormnendations, and
WHEREAS a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect
to said application on August 28, 1986 at which time all interested
persons were
given an opportunity to be heard, and
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar
with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application, and it is noted for the record
that there was no opposition to this project, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the projecc as proposed will
not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that Marlene R. Nash BE AND HEREBY IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER
THE PROVISIONS OF THE WETLAND ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, NEW
YORK TO install a float 20' x 5' and a walkway 24' x 4' in Deep Hole
Creek, Mattituck, property is located at 1700 Deep Hole Drive, Mattituck.
This permit will expire on August 28, 1987 if work has not commenced
by said date. There are two inspections required and the Trustees are
to be notified upon the completion of the work. Prior to the issuance
of said permit by the Clerk, the applicant for a permit shall file with
the Clerk a certificate that the applicant has public liability znsurance
policies insuring against any liability which may arise in the performance
of the operations pursuant to such permit in such amount as shall be

on August 28, 1987 if work has not commenced by said date. There are
two inspections required and the Trustees are to be notified upon
the completion of the work. Prior to the issuance of said permit by
the Clerk, the applicant for a permit shall file witht he Clerk a
certificate that the applicant has public liability insurance policies
insuring against any liability which may arise in the performance of the
operations pursuant to such permit ~n such amount as shall be fixed by
the Trustees, which said policies shall name the Town as a name insured.
Please take further notice that this declaration should not be considered
a determination made for any other department or agency which may also have
an application pending for the same or similar project.
The following fees are now due and payable. Upon remittance your permit
will be forwarded by mail.
20' x 5' float @ .25 = 100 sq. ft. = $25.00
24' x 4' walkway @ .25 = 96 sq. ft. 24.00

Approve but suggest the applicant reconsider. The project may
result in the loss of beach if bulkheaded. The current
vegetation and beach system is working very well.
Table pending receipt of a good quality map-site and shoreline.
Approve with stipulations. Must take action re prevent erosion
and runoff on east side of bulkhead; install fill and put in
ground cover to prevent rain induced runoff.
Approve with proposals. Construct cesspool away from wetlands;
put in drywells to contain runoff on site; no bulkhead; no
lawn; build a catwalk; leave natural vegetation; and plant
buffer around foundation.
