authorities. The T~wn accepts no responsibility in applying for or Obtaining such approval. In the
event that such approval is qecessary, the~ holder of this permit shall not commence operations here-
unaer dntil such approval has been obtain¢o in writing. The failure to obtain such other approval when
required shall sublect th~s permit to immediate revocation by the Trustees upon receipt by the
Trustees of written notice from such other governmental ~r municiaal authorities of its refusal o~'
disapproval.

Dear Mr. King:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during
their regular meeting held on January 21, 1988 regarding the above matter.
Moved by Trustee Smith seconded by Trustee Bredemeyer
WHEREAS, Charles A. King applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit
under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of
Southold, application dated November 19. 1987, and
WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on January 21, 1988 at which time all interested
persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of
the town,
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that Charles A. KinE BE AND HEREBY IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER
THE PROVISIONS OF THE WETLAND ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD TO:
Improve an existing blue stone ramp with black Top coat. Existing ramp on the site
since 1973, Property is located at 200 East Mill Road, Mattituck. In the future if
this ramp ~s to be recovered, a permit will be required.
This permit will expire on January 21, 1990 if work has
not commenced by said date. There are two inspections required and
the Trustees are To be notified upon the completion of the work. Prior

t o the issuance of said permit by the Clerk, the applicant shall file with the
Clerk a certificate that he has public liability ~nsurance policies insuring against
any liability which may arise ~n the performance of the operations pursuant To such
permit in such amount as shah be ficed by the Trustees. which said policies shall
name the Town as a name insured. Please take further notice that this declaration
should not be considered a determination made for any other department or agency
which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project.
Please remit $10.00 for Wetland Inspection fees. Upon remittance your permit
will be forwarded by mail.
PLEASE RETURN TO THE BUILDING DEPT. FOR A DETERMINATION ON THE
NEED OF ANY OTHER PERMIT THAT MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT.

Council was scheduled for Thursday, January 21, 1988 at 4:00 P.M.
at the Southold Town Hall.
Group Inspections were scheduled for 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 21,
1988. Members will meet at the Southold Town Hall.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Monday, December 21, 1987 a meeting regarding Freshwater Wetlands
is scheduled ~o be held at 7:00 P.M. at the Southold Town Hall.
Margaret Feeney will attend.
Chairman John Holzapfel announced that the Council on Environ-
mental Quality (CEQ), which is the Suffolk County Conservation
Advisory Group, meens once a month at the H. Lee Dennison Bldg.
The Southold Town CAC ms invited and has a vote on items pertaining
to Southold.
John Holzapfel reported nhat the pamphlet has progressed nicely
