Box 1179 Southold,NY 11971 Southold Town Board r Dear Sirs: I am writing to request a field visit on January 9, 2018 with regard to a deck and screen porch that we would like to construct at our residence located at 8045 N Bayview Road in Southold. An earlier visit, in the Fall of 2015, arranged by our Realtor, suggested that we would be permitted to construct a deck on the North side of the house. ` As indicated on the enclosed survey and plan, our house is bordered on the North by 4+acres of undeveloped parkland belonging to the Harbor Lights Home Owners Association. On the East, the property slopes down to wetlands,which have been mapped and flagged by Rob Herrmann of En-Consultants and are indicated on the survey. We are hoping to construct an 11' deck that would run the length of the North side of the house and connect with a small existing deck located between the house and garage. We are also planning to construct a 14'x16' screened porch and outdoor shower. adjacent to the West end of the deck, I am enclosing a copy of a recent survey along with a sketch of the layout of the deck and porch, as well as a photograph of the North view of the house. Given the slope of the property, the deck will begin on the second floor at the Northeast comer of the house. I am planning to be present to meet you at the property. Enclosed please find a check in the amount of$50.00 for the field visit fee. We hereby grant permission to the Trustees to enter our property in order to conduct the Field Visit. Thank you.
