Requires Im ediate Attention: Nothing at this time 1Ia Board and Office Policies,Practices, and Activities: Proposed Code Changes to Cha ter 20.5 Public Entertain ecil :vsna At the Town board work: session on December 19, 2017, Town.Attorney Duffy and 1 presented proposed changes to the Special Fve7lts code that would transfer the administration of special event applications that anticipate less than 5,000 people in. attendance, from the office of the ward of Appeals and:the approval or denial of these applications from the jurisdiction of the Chairperson of the ZBA to a Special Events Committee and the Town.Beard respectively. The proposal will be discussed again at the next Town board work session on January 2, 2018. Run, afide, .Fight Erotocols On December 1.3, 2.'0171 distributed, reviewed, and discussed the Run, Hide Fight Protocol handout given to Department Heads by ATA Hagen and Chief Flatley, with the Z13A staff. Also invited and in attendance were staff from the 'Trustees and Trustee President Mike Domino. In addition to that review, we also evaluated our work space/office environment and nearby surroundings for safety. I submitted a written summary of our observations, suggestions, and concerns to ATA Hagen and Chief Flatley on December 19, 2017. 1 will be inviting both the ATA and the Chief to do a walkthrough in our office with staff in attendance as a follow up some time in January 201 8.
