The current space occupied by the Bank is inadequate, and the purpose of the expansion is to provide more room for existing employees. There are currently 34 full-time employees and four part-time employees, and upon com- pletion of the renovations, only three additional employees will be located in the building, for a total of 37 full-time employees. We expect to regrade the lot and install an additional dry well if our engineer determines the existing wells will not be able to handle the water from the parking lot. We understand the Town Highway Department will clean its drain on Westphalia Road and Pike Street and will elevate the curbing around the parking area. The net structural effect was that the existing ring of the cesspool acted as a form for the footing placement. Concerning your requirement for mechanical ventilation in the interior toilet rooms, note on sheet M-2 exhaust fan 1 & 2 on the second floor and note on sheet E-2 a note to wire to a new exhaust fan for the relocated toilets in the existing building. Section 1 and Section 2 on sheet 3 shows the ,new location of the 12" of insulation and the fact that we will ventilate the space above the insulation. Sheet E-1 shows the lighting fixtures in the basement area ceiling. There is no area where there is only one bulb leaving a space dark if that one bulb burns out. There is no area on the first or second floor where that might occur as indicated on sheet E-2.-.1 have indicated on the drawing that both the storage room in the basement and the vault on the first floor will have air supply and exhaust. The echaaaical drawings indicate the supply duct to each area. The second floor plan, sheet 2, shows the escape window in Office 207 and the- added-layer of 5/8" "X" Type gypsumboard in the existing hall . The new passage (203), the foyer (201) and the hall (204) have 5/8" "X" Type gypsum board on both sides as indicated on the finish schedule on sheet 4.
