We installed 2"of Closed Cell Foam in the Exterior Ceilings which is equal to a R-13, with 12"of Cellulose Insulation which is equal to a R-40 on top of the Foam. With a Total R-value of R- 53. We installed 2"of Closed Cell Foam in the Exterior Walls, Box Ends, Cantilever, Interior Garage Walls,and Exterior Garage Walls which is equal to a R-13. Also,we installed R-11 Fiberglass Insulation on top of the Foam with a total R-value of R-24. We Installed 2"of Closed Cell Foam at a R-13 in the Garage Ceilings with a R-38 Fiberglass Batt Insulation with a total R Value of 51. Fireplace Chase and the Stairwell to the Basement were Insulated with R-13 Fiberglass Insulation. RELIEF REQUESTED: The applicant requests a variance to make additions and alterations to a structure with a front yard setback of 56.8' feet where 60 feet is required per code. FINDINGS OF FACT/REASONS FOR BOARD ACTION: The Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing on this application on May 7, 2015 at which time written and oral evidence were presented. Town Law 4267-b(3)(b)(4) No evidence has been submitted to suggest that a variance in this residential community will have an adverse impact on the physical or environmental conditions in the neighborhood.
