Pursuant to 144-15A., of the Southold Town Code, "No building hereafter erected shall be used or occupied in whole or in part until a certificate of occupancy shall have been issued by the Building Inspector." You have yet to obtain a certificate of occupancy for the above referenced and there is evidence that you have been using the swimming pool. Furthermore,the pool is not fenced, as per New York State law, and must be fenced immediately. In addition,we have evidence to suggest that the work done under building permit#33113Z, construction of additions and alterations to an existing single family dwelling,has been completed. There have been no inspections by the building department for this project, nor has a certificate of occupancy been issued, and the permit expires on June 6, 2009.
