Dear MS. Steetman:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during
its regular meeting held on August 1, 1991:
RESOLVED that the Town Trustees APPROVE therequest for a waiver for
the following:
To construct a single family dwelling as per revised plan dated
July 11, 1991.
Please return to the Building Department for a determination on the
need for any other permits which may be required for this project.

Dear Mr. Strang:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during
their regular meeting held on June 25, 1987 regarding the above matter.
WHEREAS, Garrett A. Strang, on behalf of ¥~. & Mrs. Fred Moritt applied fer a
determination on the need of a Wetland Permit for the construction of a single
family residence, property located on a private road off of New Suffolk Ave.,
Mattituck, as proposed on the site plan by Garrett A. Strang, Architect, dated
April 13, 1987 and revised May 20, 1987, and
WHEREAS,, the Bay Constable conducted an on site inspection for a determination of
the need of a Wetland Permit for the project, and
WHEREAS, it was determined that the work requested was 75' from the wetlands, and
WHEREAS, it was recommended that a Waiver be requested for the possible encroachment
of pedestrian and/or equipment within 75' from the wetlands,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED that Garrett A. Strang on behalf of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Moritt be and hereby
are granted a WAIVER of the Wetland Ordinance as requested.
PLEASE REMIT THE REQUIRED $25.00 FOR THE WAIVER AT THIS TIME.

Dear Ms. Steelman:
The Trustees reviewed the application submitted by Samuels &
Steelman on behalf of Rosemary Morrit, to construct a
house. After an on site inspection by the Board of Trustees,
was determined that this project is out of Trustees'
jurisdiction.
Ail other approvals that may be applicable should be secured
prior to the commencement of the project.

Dear Mr. Bredemeyer:
On March 5, 1991 our office received a letter from you
stating that the Board of Trustees had determined that
the above referenced project was out of its jurisdiction.
Since that date, the Owner and the Suffolk County Health
Department have made additional changes to the Site Plan.
These changes are indicated on the enclose~ Site Plan and
are as follows:
Relocated the proposed well to the north west
corner of the site from the easement.
2 Relocated ~he Septic System and the leaching pools.
3
Relocated the house and garage closer to the right
of way.
4. Located a new pool and deck seaward of house.
These changes fall within the required setbacks as reviewed
in the original site plan. The setback line as shown on the
original site plan has not changed. The pool and deck are
75 ft. from the wetlands and the sanitary system maintains
the required 100 ft. setback.
Since all ehanges fall within the field verified setback
line, we hope this site plan may be substituted for the
previously submitted plan.
If we can answer any questions, please do not hesitate to
call.

a proposed residence located on Halls Harbor in Mattituck.
The location of the house is greater than the 75 foot
required setback and we are therefore requesting a waiver
from the Trustees for the construction of the house.

Whereas, it was recommended that a Waiver be requested for the possible encroachment
of pedestrian and/or equipment within 75' from the wetlands,

Resolved that Garrett A. Strang on ~behalf of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Moritt be and hereby
is granted'a waiver of the wetland ordinance as requested subject to the following
provisions:
1. During excavation the fill must be contained so that it does notwash into
the water/wetlands.
2. Placement of straw bable sediment barriers are to be used on the site during
construction.
3. A 35 ft. buffer zone is to be maintained from the water back landward into the
property. ·

Dear Mr. Smith and Members of the Board:
I have been advised by the Bay Constable that the proposed
area of construction for the above referenced project, is
exactly 75' from the wetlands, thereby eliminating the need
for a Trustees' permit.
However, during construction the possibility exists that
pedestrian and/or machinery may traffic the area, and we are
hereby requesting a temporary waiver for this condition.
All area of lawn on the property will be restored.
If you have any questions, please contact my office.
