Economic Development Committee Meeting March 15, 2017
Town Hall Conference Room
In Attendance: Denis Noncarrow, Rona Smith, Donielle Cardinale, Deputy Supervisor Ruland,
John Stype
Excused: Supervisor Scott Russell, Sara Garretson
Meeting called to order at 2:30 p.m.
Minutes from the February meeting were accepted.
Denis Noncarrow and John Stype will create a handout with a list of the committee members,
mission statement, goals/main objectives of the committee, and the website information. This
hand out will be distributed at events and chamber meetings. The committee will work towards
creating a contact list and collecting email addresses. Denis and John are also going to create a
list of talking points for the committee to follow. This will help to create a consistent message.
The Committee wishes to become a door into the Town for residents. They will do this by
increasing their visibility within the Town of Southold.
The Economic Development Committee will not meet during the month of April. The Sub-
Committees will meet instead and discuss their work at the May meeting of the Economic
Development Committee.
The meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
