Box 803 Greenport, New York 11944 Re: Margaren McNamara - Wetland Application No. 480 Dear Mr. McLaughlin: The following actions were taken by the Board of Trustees during their recent meeting held on February 26, 1987 regarding the above referenced matter: RESOLVED that the Southold Town Trustees Rescind the Lead Agency Declaration declared on the Wetland application No. 480 for Margaret McNamara to construct a wooden deck with steps in front and back around an existing dwelling on property located at 640 Takaposa Road, Southold, and it was further resolved tha~ WHEREAS, the Board carefully considered all the documentation submitted-concerning this request, and j WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question, and the surrounding areal and WHEREAS, the Board made the following findings of fact. 1. By this request appellant requests a WAIVER of the Wetland Ordinance mn Accordance with Article II, Section 97-22 to construct a deck with steps around an existing dwelling. 2. The property in question is located at 640 Takaposa Road, Southold; more particularly known on the Suffolk County Tax Map as: 1000-087-6-10. In considering this request the Board also find~ and determines: 1. The project will not adversely affect the wetlands of the town. 2. The project will not weaken or undermine the lateral support of the other lands in the vicinity. 3. The project will not otherwise adversely affec~ the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, Margaret McNamara Page 2. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Kevin McLaughlin on behalf of Margaret McNamara BE Ai~ HEREBY iS GEANTED A WAIVER OF THE ~TLAND O~DIN~NCE AS REQUESTED TO CONSTRUCT A DECK WITH STAIRS AROUND AN EXISTING DWELLING SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS: 1. Care is to be taken so as to p~eclude the entry of any construction material into the adjacent water. Please note that this determination is not a declaration made for any other agency or department which may have an application pending for the same or similar project.
