held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the request for a
Transfer of Wetland Permit#431 from Harvey McMahon, as issued on June 10, 1987.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Harvey McMann has a wetland permit#431,that I'd like to transfer into my name,Joseph M Triolo,
current owner of 420 Beachwood lane. I've enclosed the$50 permit fee and approve the town to

The validity of this permit is or may be subject to the approval of other governmental or municipal
authorities. The Town accepts no responsibility in applying' for or obtaining such approval. In the
· event that such approval is necessary, the holder of this permit shall not commence operations here-
under until such approval has been obtained in writing. The failure to obtain such other approval when
required shall subject this permit to immediate revocation by the Trustees upon receipt by the
Trustees- of written notice from such other governmental or municipal authorities of its refusal or
disapproval..
The applicant does by the acceptance of this permit, assume all responsibillty for operations under-
taken pursuant to this permit, and shall take all precautions for the prevention of injuries to persons
and property resulting from such operations. By such acceptance, the applicant also agrees to ii~demn~-
fy and save harmless the Town, and its officers, agents and emoioyees from any and all ciaims arising
from operations under this permit and any and al acts or omissions of applicant, his 8gen'c and
employees.
The applicant and the owner and occuoants of the premises u con which the ooerations authorized by
its officers and employees to enter uoon the premises where such operations are ueing conduc;ed
make such inspections as the Town may deem necessary to ;nsure that such operations are being con-
ducted in conformity with this permit.

E. 'Increase the danger of flood and storm-tide damage.

Dear Mr. Just:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during
their regular meeting held on August 27, 1987 regarding the above matter.
WHEREAS, The Land Use Company on behalf of Harvey McMahon app)ied to the~
Southold Town Trustees for a permit
under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of
Southold, application dated June 10, 1987,- and
WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on Attgust 27, 1987 at which time all interested
persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and no objections were raised, -and
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of
the town,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I~T
RESOLVED that The Land Use Company on behalf of Harvey McMahon BE AND HEREBY
IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER THE ~
PROVISIONS OF THE WETLAND ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD TO:
construct ~ 4' x 28~ catwalk leading to a 4~ x 14' ramp and a 6' x 16' float dock.
Property is located at 420 Beachwood Lane, Southold.

This permit will expire on August 27, 198~ if work has
not commenced by said date. There are two inspections required and
the Trustees are to be notified upon the completion of the work.
Prior to the issuance of said permit b3~ the Clerk, the applicant
shall file with the Clerk a certificate that he has public liability
insurance policies insuring against any l~ability which may arise
in the performance of the operations pursuant to such permit im such
amount as shall be fixed by the Trustees, which said policies shall
name the Town as a name ~nsured. Please take further notice that
this declaration should not be considered a determination made for
any other department or agency which may also have an application
pending for the same or similar project.
PLEASE RETURN TO THE BUILDING DEPT. FOR A DETERMINATION ON THE
NEED OF ANY OTHER TOWN PERMITS THAT MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THIS

No. 554 --Christopher W. Karb - Recommend approval with the stipulation
that the catwalk be elevated the standard 4' above existing marsh.
No. 555 - Peter Steil - Recommend approval.
No. 556 - Harvey McMahon ~ Recommend approval.
No. 557 - Rola B. Campbell - Recommend approval.
No. 558 - Royston P. and Helen T. Rind - Recommend approval
No, 559 - Inez B..Va, il - Recommend disapproval. The CAC is following
the policy set by the DEC that no permanent structures be.. placed
on property where there is not a similar structure on neighboring
properties. The Council suggests the-applicant plant natural
beach species to help control erosion and undermining.

that applic~ant build a small berm on the edge of property and install
dry wells in an effort to control any runoff which may occur during
heavy rains. " -
