Box 1179 Telephone (516) 765-1892 BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES Southold, New York 11971 Fax (516) 765-1823 TOWN OF SOLITHOLD January 21, 1992 Frank DeNicola, Jr. 3 Mooring Drive Bellport, NY 11713 Re: Robert McGuire SCTM ~1000-71-1-16.1 Dear Mr. DeNicola: The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustess during its regular meeting held on January 16, 1992 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, FRANK DENICOLA, Jr. ON BEHALF OF ROBERT MCGUIRE applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated November 17, 1991 and, WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and, WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on January 16, 1992 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT FRANK DENICOLA ON BEHALF OF ROBERT MCGUIRE BE AlqD HEREBY IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER THE WETLAND ORDINANCE TO: construct 24' X 24' attached garage with a pervious gravel driveway SUBJECT to the requirement that the applicant construct a pervious driveway with a minimum of one 8' diameter by 8' deep drainage ring for driveway runoff. The ring should have a traffic bearing slab and slotted cast iron cover to grade. The reof drainage for the garage can be routed to this drywell unless otherwise prohibited by the building department. Along the line of the kaybales a low profile berm must be installed to retain any runoff not captured by the drywell(s). A low fertilizer requiring grass mix is required. Please call this office for an inspection of tke berm and dr!rwell. You may wish to consider splitting the drainage into two 8 foot diameter by four feet. This permit will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project. Please return to the Building Department for a determination on the need for any other permits which may be required for this project.
