POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

Application of County of Suffolk to modify existing drainage system to redirect stormwater
on Middle Road between Boisseau Avenue and Soundview Avenue in Southold. Written

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
751. Amend resolution #740 adopted at the November 7, 2002 Town Board meeting to change
the date and time of the public hearing on the Perino/Nastasi moratorium waiver request to
5:00 p.m., December 3, 2002.
752. Amend resolution #741 adopted at the November 7, 2002 Town Board meeting to change
the date and time of the public hearing on the Old Orchard moratorium waiver request to
5:05 p.m., December 3, 2002.

Amend resolution #742 adopted at the November 7, 2002 Town Board meeting to change
the date and time of the public hearing on the Alvah's Lane moratorium waiver request to
5:10 p.m., December 3, 2002.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 2002 budget cover construction
inspections at Peconic Landing.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement with individuals for the
winter 2003 recreation programs.
Accept the resignation of Mary Jablonski from her position as a Landmark Commission
Member.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2002 budget to provide funds for
the over-expended full time employee line, Receiver of Taxes.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2002 budget to provide funds for
vacation and part time earnings, Town Attorney's Office.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2002 budget to cover a telephone
modem line.
Grant permission to the Mattituck-Cutchogue School District to hold a "Harvest Walk"
November 22, 2002 using Town roads.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2002 budget to appropriate
donated money for the Tree Committee to use for tree removal and replanting.
Appoint Angel Morales as Assistant Cook at the Nutrition Center.
Appoint Devin T. Bridgen as a part-time Student Intern in the Town Clerk's Office.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to take the appropriate action to liquidate 190
shares of US Plastic-Lumber Corporation stock.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to take the appropriate action to liquidate 916
shares of Anthem Incorporated stock.
Appoint James Kelly as a full-time Public Safety Dispatcher for the Police Department.
Increase the hourly wages of Fishers Island Ferry District employees.

Uphold the decision of the Southold Town Trustees with regard to the Padovan appeal.
Amend resolution #391 of June 18, 2002 in order to allow installation and hookup of a new
well at the Cutchogue landfill at a cost not to exceed $30,000 (previously $28,000).
Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 2002 budget to cover miscellaneous
expenses.
Determine that the proposed amendment to the Town Zoning Code to clarify the use known
as "warehouses" will not significantly adversely affect the environment, pursuant to the
State Environmental Quality Review Act and Chapter 44 of the Town Code.
Set 5:15 p.m., December 3, 2002, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on the question of acquisition by gift of a conservation easement to the Town of
property owned by Nielsen, SCTM #1000-5-1-8.
Set 5:20 p.m., December 3, 2002, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on the purchase of property of Waldron, SCTM # 1000-53-2-5.
Approve the trailer permit for Laurel Greenhouses.
Enact "A Local Law in Relation to Private Warehousing and Public Warehousing in the
General Business (B), Light Industrial Park Chapter 100 of the Zoning Code of the Town of
Southold".
Authorize the bond to Increase and Improve the Facilities of the Southold Solid Waste
Management District of the Town of Southold.
Adopt the 2003 budget.
Adopt the 2003 capital budget.
Adjourn in memory of former Receiver of Taxes George Mellas.
