Box 1179 Southold,NY 11971 Dear President Domino and Board Members: I have just reviewed a recent application regarding 1090 First Street New Suffolk, SCTM# 1000-117-7-31. This is currently a vacant lot without a structure. It will not qualify for non- conforming pre-existing conditions or exceptions. Therefore, anything built on this site must adhere to current code and laws. I expect the neighbors to be notified in a timely manner and provided with accurate detailed plans. As you are well aware, Grella/Osborne (1200 First Street,New Suffolk, SCTM# 1000-117-7-30) were granted myriad variances and construction went well beyond the scope of the approved plans. Construction continued without the necessary Wetland Permit and against the ruling of the Trustees and is still awaiting a hearing regarding as-built violations. I would hope the mistakes of the past will not be repeated. Thank you for your consideration. I am writing to ask for permission to build my retirement home on the piece of vacant residential property that I have owned on First Street here in New Suffolk for almost as long as I've owned Capt. Marty's. I would appreciate your input as to what I need to do so I can apply for a building permit. I understand you need to inspect the property so this letter grants you permission to do so. I would like to be there when you conduct the Field Inspection and can be reached at the phone number above.
