Town of Southold 54375 Rt 25 Southold, NY 11971 Re: Septic System, 2195 Henry's Lane Peconic Building/Zoning Official, The septic system installed at the above referenced property was installed and approved by the Suffolk County Department of Health Services on November 7, 1984. At that time the system was certified to include one precast concrete septic tank and three precast concrete leaching pools (SCDHS approval 13-SO-187). They system is sufficient for a one to four bedroom house. No known alterations have been made to the system with the exception of installing a new cover on one pool. An inspection of the system was not conducted. However, based on the inspection completed at the time of initial construction as well at least one subsequent inspection, I can certify that the existing septic system is sufficient to serve a residence with up to four bedrooms.
