In checking with the Planning Board office on May 23, 1984, it appears that your site plan was withdrawn. Since your variance application has a "pending" status, we are not sure what your intentions are at this time. Do you wish to proceed with this application? Yours very truly, GERARD P. B~ %-ihvd~ K0~a~s~ Board of Appaal Tow of Board of Appeals Town of SouthSld, Main Road=SR 25 Southold, New York 11971 Dear Sirs: Estate of Hedwig K~nder c/o Narian E. Zabroski=Executor 200 Village Groom=Circle East K 315 Palm Springs, Florida 33461 December 2, 1983 I am the Executor of my mother's estate, (Hedwig Kinder) Kander and the Estate is the owner of a two story house located on Main Road, Mattituck, New York. A copy of tax map is attached which clearly defines the property in question. My sisters and brothers who reside in Mattituck, New York have advised me thatThomas Yasso has filed for relief under your Article Vii Sec tion 100-7 A (1). The application requests permission to ~:~truct a building consisting of a concrete floor 24' X 40' with an aluminum roof. The building to be open on all sides and theywant toconstruct it 3 feet from our property line. We strongly object to this construction as it will completely destroy our property. The open shed for s~orage of beverage containers will be an eye sore. It will bring in bugs and rodents. When my mother was alive she was continually asking Mr. Yasso to clean up his garbage and beverage, cSrs which were spread out on both sides of her property. The trash was bringing bugs and rodents into her house. Mr. Yasso says ~h~t he has an exterminator come in on a regular basis. I wonder what all this poison is doing tO the ground, ~ater and air? We must remember that people in ~ttituck s~ill use well water which comes from their own wells. The storage area will bring in more trucks into the area. The State Road section opposite Pacific Street is already a traffic hazzard. It is continually congested. The Estate is actively attempting to sell the property and this will c~use a hardship to us. Your rejectin~ ~ the application filed by Thomas Yasso is strongly recsmmended. Respectively: Estate of Hedwig Kander Marian E. Zabroski Executor ~ T~ T~ TO~N O~ ..~CxJ'n-Oc.~, N.~. o = i,,.o.
