Dear 1Kr. McDonald:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
daring its regular meeting held on September 28, 1995 regarding
the above matter:
WHEREAS, applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit
under the provisions of the Wetland Ordiuance of the Town'of
Southold, application dated August 11, 1995, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southotd Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public H~sring was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on September 2S, 1995, at which time
sll interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
an d,
WHEREAS,~ the Board members have personally viewed and are
fsmil~ar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered al/ the tes*imony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the stands,-d set forth in
Chapter 37-18 of the Southeld Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,

means the work can be done immediately, even though final
approval is sot granted. The Board feels to stop the work will
do more harm than good.

At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held
Thursday, August 2L~, 1995 the following action was taken:

Moved by Bruce Loucka, seconded by John Hagerty, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
~/I,-IEH PRG~V~ISIONS of the Wetland Application of WILLIAM J. AND MARK S.
Mc~DONAIgD .135~1~-5 to rebuild existing bulkhead and replace existing decks,
stairs, etc. as necessary
The Council recommends approval with the provision that a non-turf buffer on
the embankment be installed to prevent further erosion.
