'q~ Telephone (516) 765-1892 Fax (516) 765-1823 BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES TOWN OF SOUTHOLD May 4, 1994 Daniel ~cConlogue 20 Snapdragon Lane Levittown, NY 11756 Re: Daniel & Evelyn McConlogue SCTM ~1000-31-12-4 Dear Mr. McCenlogue: The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on April 28, 1994 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, Daniel & Evelyn McConlogue applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated February 25, 1994 and, WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisor~ Council for their findings and recommendations, and, WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on April 28, 1994 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises~ in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted cencerning this appIication, and, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the preject as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees approves the application of DANIEL & EVELYN MCCONLOGUE to construct a 2 bedroom, t bath extension to existing house with dr~ells. A staked row of hay bales will be placed at the top of the bluff. Construct stairs, a 3' X 20' catwalk, replace and repair a 6' X 8' dock as per revised plans dated March 29, 1994. Located 900 Truman's Path, East Marion. Permit will expire two years from the date it is signed. Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project. Meeting The Council recommends ,approval with the stipulation that the applicant provide the Trustees with a survey showing the extent of the building envelope plan and that the envelope not be lower than the 15' contour line and that any clearing should be withi.n the building envelope; also, all areas that are distu~"bed [exposed soil) for more than one month be planted with annual rye grass. East Marion The Conservation Advisory Council recommends approval of the addition. The CAC c.an only recommend approval of the walkway and dock with the following stlputatlons: 1. The walkway must go straight down from the top of the bluff to the dock. No angles. 2. Walkway must be at least 3' above the grade to allow growth under the walk.w, ay and prevent erosion. . 3; Al! d~sturbed areas should be' planted w~th a mixture of tall rescue, red rescue and perennial rye grass. No. 1124 Moved by Stephen Angell. seconded by Robert Kelth. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL WITH STIPULATIONS of the Wetland Application of DENNIS KEDJIERSKI 53-5-12.2 to 1. Reconstruct an existing single family dwelling, adding a second floor and a 7' front and side porch. 2. Construct a 27' x 20~ two-car garage on the existing concrete parking area and remove approximately 2000 sq. ft. of concrete parking area from in front of the house. 3. Remove a small, concrete block smoke house and shed. Construct a gravel driveway to the proposed garage. 5. Remove approximately 1500 sq. ft. of concrete patio and two concrete ramps from the rear and side of the house as per submitted drawing, and replace it with a 12' x 20' timber deck and stairs attached to the rear of the house. Chapter 37 Southold Town Code Southold Trustees as Administrator I (we) ./~/~& ~ /P~ type or print name(s) the own~ of record ~of property at: //~u/7/?¢A/.~ (type or print street address) SCTM ~1000- in applying for a Coastal Erosion permit for an Erosion Protection Structure do hereby agree to a 30 year maintenance program for a structure commonly known as a ~2~ of as shown on the attaqhed feet of length licensed survey of the as-built structure. it is my/our understanding that we are to maintain this structure with materials designed to endure 30 years and or equivalent to the original approved structure and that for any maintenance which involves more than 5% in length of this structure we are to give prior written notice to the administrator, waiting for their approval in all but true emergency situation's which would seriously endanger life, property and important coastal natural resource features such as bluffs or wetlands. We further understand that failure to maintain the structure could result in a requirement to post a bond and or have the repairs ordered as a lien against the property upon a finding by the Trustees that said lack of maintenance would risk life, property or important natural resources features including protected, rare or threatened animals and plants.
