Dear Elizabeth & Mike:
Attached are some drawings for proposed work on Fishers Island at 1946 Brickyard Rd.
We'd be most grateful if someone from the Town Trustees would be able to take a look when they're
on the island next Wednesday.
The work is to add a detached garage between the existing house and the road. It's on the far side of
the house from west Harbor. There are fresh water wetlands in the eastern-most corner of the lot,
near the road. The nearest corner of the proposed garage is 89' from the wetlands boundary, as
flagged by Glenn Just. We expect the corners of the garage to have been staked by next Wed.
Another small separate project at the main house is to add a small covered entry porch on top of an
existing wood deck.
Attached are drawings, including a site plan, plans, elevations, & sections, and a
perspective. Separately attached is a survey drawing by CME.
The owner Kathryn Parsons says that Chris Edwards, who is familiar with the property, is going to be
giving the Trustees a ride on Wed. I'll send along the owner's authorization if I get in time. But it may
not be necessary if Chris Edwards takes you there, since he has the owners' permission.
