Present were: Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson/Member Patricia Acampora, Member Gerard P. Goehringer, Member Nick Planamento, Member Eric Dantes, Member Kim Fuentes, Zoning Board Assistant Call to Order at 5:00 P.M. by Chairperson Weisman. WORK SESSION: 1. Requests from Board Members for future agenda items. 2. Discuss SEQRA application budgets. All members accepted budget. 3. Discuss Waiver of Merger Law—To be reschedule for August 3, 2017 at 8:30 am. 4. Deminimus Approval Request—ZBA#7014 Captain Red's Marine—all members agree the request is deminimus. 5. Discussed Severson ZBA#7062 relating to the newly adopted Town Code referencing percentages of demolition allowed. 6. Discussed Tsatsos ZBA#7067 relating to pending additional information. 7. Annual Training Schedule for August 17, 2017 at 4 pm by Bill Duffy, Topic Agricultural and Markets Law. 8. Discussed Bonetti ZBA#7071 regarding an amended survey. 9. Discussed Pending Special Exception applications. Page 2—Minutes Special Meeting held July 20, 2017 Southold Town Zoning Board of Appeals POSSIBLE RESOLUTION TO CLOSE THE FOLLOWING HEARINGS ORIOLI & SON RENTAL EAST. LLC#7059 (Adj. from July 6, 2017) - Request for Variances under Article X, Section 280-45; and the Building Inspector's December 22, 2016, amended January 12, 2017 Notice of Disapproval based on an application for a permit to construct additions and alterations to an existing commercial budding at: 1) proposed additions to provide four (4) separate uses upon a single parcel less than the minimum allowed 80,000 sq. ft. in total area; located, at: 13175 Route 25, Mattituck, NY. SCTM# 1000-140-3-38.4. BOARD RESOLUTION: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Goehringer to close the public hearing reserving decision. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). PATRICK AND DIANE SEVERSON #7062 — (Add. from July 6, 2017) Request for Variances under Article III, Section 280-15F and Article MI, Section 280-116A, and the Building Inspector's March 3, 2017, amended March 13, 2017 Notice of Disapproval based on an application for a permit to construct additions and alterations to an existing single family dwelling and to legalize an "as built" shed, at: 1) "as built" shed located less than the code required minimum front yard setback of 50 feet; 2) "as built" shed located less than the code required 100 feet from the top of the bluff; 3) additions to the single family dwelling located less than the code required 100 feet from the top of the bluff, at: 9202 Bridge Lane, (Adj. to the Long Island Sound) Cutchogue, NY. SCTM#1000-73-2-3.1. BOARD RESOLUTION: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Goehringer to close the public hearing reserving decision. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted 5-0 . DELIBERATIONS /POSSIBLE DECISIONS/RESOLUTIONS The Board continued with agenda items, and commenced deliberations on the following applications. The original determinations of each of the following applications as decided are filed with the Southold Town Clerk: APPROVE AS APPLIED WITH CONDITIONS ROSE M. WELLS#7058 KARRAS UPSTATE. LLC#7070 (Vote of the Board:Ayes:All. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-1). LOUIS BONETTI#7071 DENY ORIOLI & SON RENTAL, EAST LLC#7059 EVE MACSWEENEY and VERONICA GONZALEZ#7063 Page 3—Minutes Special Meeting held July 20, 2017 Southold Town Zoning Board of Appeals Vote of the Board:Ayes:All. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0). RESOLUTIONS: A. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Goehringer, to authorize advertising of hearings for the next Regular Meeting to be held August 3, 2017 at 8:30 AM. Vote of the Board:Aves:All. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). B. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Planamento to approve minutes from July 6, 2017, Regular Meeting. Vote of the Board:Ayes:All. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time, Chairperson Weisman declared the meeting adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 P.M.
