Box 1179 (516) 765-1801 Southold, New York 11971 SOUTHOLD TOWN CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL To: Soushold Town Board of Trustees From: Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council Dated: November 12, 1991 Re: Recommendation of Wetland ADplications The following recommendations were adopted by the CAC at its regular meeting held Thursday, November 7, 1991: RESOLVED to recommend To the Southold Town Trustees approval with stipulations of Wetland Application No. 99-4-23 of Mattituck Fishing Station ~o replace, in same location and configuration, 360± 1.f. of itmber bulkhead and dredge up 5o 10' off bulkhead to maximum depth of 4' below MLW. Approximately 85 c.y. of spoil to be removed and used to backfill bulkheads. An existing section of bulkhead and rip-rap adjacent to launching ramp to be removed and replaced with a 55' section of bulkhead only, which is not to interfere with launching of boats. The existin§ 10' x 48' launching ramp To be resurfaced with concrete. Add five 2.5' x 16' fingers and three 2.5" x 16' fingers to sections of existing main floats as shown on submitted work plan. The CAC recommends approval provided the applicant follows Eown policy as is enforced at other marinas by adding s~orm water drainage systems to handle surface water runoff. The CAC also suggests the applicant add a 3' - 4' gravel bed adjacent to the bulkhead. Naugles Drive, Mattituck. Vote of Council: Ayes: All Notion carried. RESOVLED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with suggestions of Wetland Application No. 99-4-23 of William Ahmuty and wife to add 10' to rear waterside of existing residence. The CAC recommends apprroval with the stipulation that, if in new construction, a readjustment of the cesspool/septic system is required, that the pool(s) be moved as far away from the water as possible. Also, since there will be disturbance due to the construction, the applicant plant a natural vegetation buffer be planted within 20' of the bulkhead.
