The grant is being applied for by the Fishers Island Community Board in partnership with the Town of Southold. The action has been reviewed to New York State Department of Environmental Conservation regulation 6NYCCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review and it is my determination that pursuant to Part 617.5c(2), the action, as proposed, is a Type II action and therefore not subject to SEQRA review. 617.5(c)(21) "conducting concurrent environmental, engineering, economic, feasibility and other studies and preliminary planning and budgetary processes necessary to the formulation of a proposal for action, provided those activities do not commit the agency to commence, engage in or approve such action;" Please call me with any questions. Main Rd. &Youngs Ave.) G Q Telephone: 631 765-1938 Southold, NY 11971 ® a0 P �ly�4UNTY,�� LOCAL WATERFRONT REVITALIZATION PROGRAM TOWN OF SOUTHOLD MEMORANDUM To: Supervisor Scott Russell Town of Southold Town Board From: Mark Terry, Principal Planner LWRP Coordinator Date: May 11, 2016 Re: Local Waterfront Revitalization Coastal Consistency Review for Suffolk County Downtown Revitalization Grant - Fishers Island The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided to this department as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is EXEMPT from LWRP Coastal Consistency Review and therefore is EXEMPT from the LWRP pursuant to Minor Action, Item M: M. Conducting concurrent environmental, engineering, economic, feasibility and other studies and preliminary planning and budgetary processes necessary to the formulation of a proposal for action, provided those activities do not commit the agency to commence, engage in or approve such action; Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Town Board shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
