Main Rd. &Youngs Ave.) Southold, NY 11971 ® �p� Telephone: 631 765-1938 O�y�oUf�Td,�� LOCAL WATERFRONT REVITALIZATION PROGRAM TOWN OF SOUTHOLD MEMORANDUM To: John Bredemeyer, President Town of Southold Board of Trustees From: Mark Terry, Principal Planner LWRP Coordinator Date: April 11, 2016 Re: Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Coastal Consistency Review for Wetland,Permit for RICHARD GLUCKMAN SCTM# 1000-27-3-7.2 RICHARD GLUCKMAN requests a Wetland Permit for a Ten (10) Year Maintenance Permit to remove non-native and invasive vegetation while preserving native vegetation; to establish and subsequently maintain a 100' wide Non-Disturbance, Non-Fertilization Buffer along the landward edge of the wetland vegetation along the westerly side of the property; and to establish and subsequently maintain a 50' wide non-turf naturally vegetated buffer landward of the southern property line along King Street continuing in a northerly direction towards Orchard Street while decreasing to a 25' non-turf buffer. Located: 4760 Orchard Street, Orient. SCTM# 1000-27-3-7.2 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the LWRP policies and therefore CONSISTENT with the LWRP provided the following. 1. Native vegetation is left in place. 2. The applicant identifies how the vegetation will be removed (manually or mechanically). 3. Identify where the removed vegetation would be disposed.
