Dear Ms. Gorham:
In response to your letter dated June 5, 2017, the Board of Trustees reviewed your
request to remove the noted "dead" tree at the above mentioned property.
The Board of Trustees determined that the tree as seen on June 19, 2017 may be
removed at this time. Also, it was noted that it would be okay, should you so desire, to
remove the dead tree further landward on the property. No permit will be require in
order to remove these trees.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

To the Board of Trustees,
I am the property owner of 700 Fox Hollow Road, Mattituck,N.Y. and I am requesting permission to remove a
dead tree that is located 25 feet from Mattituck Creek.
Jonathan Shipman of Shamrock Tree Company will provide you with a letter if so requested.
I also give the Board of Trustees permission to come to my property to view the tree if need be.
