Box 1179 Southold, NY 11971 ATTN: Glenn Goldsmith REF: 1035 Waterview Drive, Southold SCTM# 1000-78-7-14 Dear Mr. Goldsmith, In August of 2020 the board granted me another year for my trustee permit, and Thank you. After our Trustee permit was issued in April of 2017,we had to use that in order to get a DEC permit and then a Health Department permit which took multiple years to achieve. So my final Trustee permit extension will expire April of 2021. Due to unforeseen circumstances over the past year, multiple family members became very ill, Covid-19 shutdowns, material and labor shortages which forced us to be unable to proceed with the project in a timely manor. Currently, we are in the process of finally submitting plans to the Building department for a building permit. The reason I am writing to you today is to ask the board for just one more year to extend my permit, I am finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel to be able to move forward without any road blocks and things are opening up slowly with being able to keep the project moving forward. Can the board make a special exception this one time and grant us a final year extension so that I can complete this project and move my family into the home. WE LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE.
