MARRINER SCTM 4144-5-28 Dear Mr. Haje, The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on January 27, 1994 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, PHILIP R. MARRiNER applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated, ~ove~er 12, 1993, and, WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and, WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the TownTrustees with respect to said application on January 27, 1994 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of PHILIP MARRINER to construct a timber dock consisting of a 4' X 40' fixed catwalk extending off an existing deck and steps and maintaining at least 4' above elevation of vegetated marsh, a 3' X i2' hinged ramp, a 6' X 20' float (arranged in a "T" configuration) secured by (2) 10" diameter pilings. Dock will replace owners mooring which is located at easterly side of proposed float. Located 320 Sailors Needle Road, Mattituck. Permit will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. Two inspections are required and the TruStees are to be notified upon completion of said project. Permit will be issued upon payment of the following fees for work to be done below Mean High Water Mark: Fees: 8' x 4' catwalk = 32 s.f. 3' X 12' ramp = 36 s.f. 6' X 20' float = 120 s.f. Approximately 15 c.y. of clean backfill to be trucked in from upland sire. Construct 13' x 20[ wood deck to be located west of fixed walk and parallel to bulkhead. The CAC recommenas approval with the condition that the runoff onto the beach from the pipe connected to the catch basin be removed. Moved by Robert Keith, seconded by Stephen Angell, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southol.d ~r. own Trustees APPROVAL WiTH CONDITIONS of the Wetland Apphcation of BARBARA BRAATZ 111-10-1tt to dredge by clam shell crane on barge to 5' below~ mean Iow water approximately 160 cubic yards, and deposit on spoil sites on applicant's property and grade. The CAC recommends approval with the condition that concern be given to the adjacent tern nesting site. No work should take place during the nesting season. Vanston Road. Moved by Robert Keith. seconded by Bruce Loucka. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL of the Wetland Application of BLUEPOINTS COMPANY. INC. 140-1-23.1 to construct 100' x it' open pile pier and place four prefabricated 8' x 30' open tanks in adjacent area. Tanks would be serviced by a 2000 GPM pump enclosed in a 5' x 5' structure, intake and outfall pipes would run underneath the pier and the tanks connected in parallel. Love Lane.
