The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during
its special meeting held on September 26, 1991:
RESOLVED that the Town Trustees approve the request for a waiver to
construct a covered deck on property located at Williamsburg Road,
Southold.
Please note that permits from other agencies may be necessary, as the
Trustees approval does not constitute approvals from other agencies.

TER~S and CONDITIONS
The Permittee, Constantinos Markotsis
residing ~l: Williamsburg (private) off Main Bayview, Southold N. ¥, as
parr o£ the consideration for the ~ce of ,the Permit does understand and prescribe to the fol-
lowing:
1. That the said Board of Trustees and the Town of Southold are released from any and
all damages, or da/mn for damages, of suits arising directly or indirectly as a result of any oper-
ation performed pursuant to tiffs permit, and the said Permit-tee will, at his or her own expense,
defend any and all such suits initiated by third parties, and the said Permittee assumes fur liability
with respect thereto, ru the complete exdusion of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Southuld
2. That this Permit is valid for a period of 24 mos. which is considered to be the
eaOanated time required to complete the work involved, but should cirettmstancas warrant, request
for an extension may be made to the Board at a later date.
3. That this Permit should be retained indefinitely, or as long as the said Permlttee wishes
to maintain the structure or project involved, to provide evidence to anyone concerned that anth-
orization was originally obtained.
4. That the work involved will be subject to the inspection and approval of the Board or
its agents, and non-compliance with the provisions of the originating application, may be ~-~ fo~
revocation of this Permit by resolution of the said Board.
5. That there will be no unreasonable interference with navigation as a result of the work
herein authorized.
6. That there shall be no interference with the fight of the public to pass and repass aiong
the beach between high and Iow water marks.
7. That ~f future operations of the Town of Sonthold requ~e the removal and/or aiterations
in the location of the work herein and~orized, or fi, in ~he opinion of the Boant of Tras~ees, the
work shall cause unreasonable obstructton to free navigation, the said Pert~ttee will be zequized~
upon due notice, to remove or aiter this work or project herein stated without expe~es to the Town
of Sonthold.
8, That the said Board will he notified by the Permit~ee ol dae completion of the work ant~
nrized.
9. That the Permktee wiU obtain all other Permits and consents that may be requLv~
plemental to this permit which may be subject to revoke upon failare to obtain same.

Dear Mr. Fitzgerald:
The following action was taken by the Board
its regular meeting held on March 22, 1990
matter:

regarding the above
WHEREAS, Proper-T Services inbehalf of Constantinos Markotsis
applied to the Southold TownTrustees for a permit under the
provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold,
application dated December 20, 1989 and,
WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations,
and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect
to said application on March 22, 1990 at which time all interested
persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar
with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of
the town,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED THAT Proper-T Services in behalf of Constantinos
Markotsis BE AND HEREBY IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER THE WETLAND
ORDINANCE TO:
To replace 90 1.f. of bulkhead with new bulkhead 18" in kind/in place
to seaward of old bulkhead; extend bulkhead 5' with a 10' return
directed away from the wetlands; relocate walkway, ramp, and floating
dock at newbulkhead; dredge area around floating dock to a depth
equal te the depth of the channel at the center of the canal.
This permit will expire two years from the date it is signed if work
has not commenced by said date. Fees must be paid, if applicable,
and permit issued within sixmonths of the date of this
notification. Two inspections are requized and the Trustees are to
be notified upon completion of said project.
Please return to the Building Department for a determination on the
need for any other permits which may berequired for this project.
Permit will be issuedupon payment of the following fees for work to
be done below MeanHigh Water Mark:

Dear Mr. Fitzgerald:
Trustee Vice President Henry Smith has re-visited the site of
the proposed bulkhead replacement and maintenance dredging of
Constantinos Markotsis on Williamsburg Road. He has
determined that this project is maintenance dredging because of
former operations of Mr. Julius Zebrowski who formerly dredged
the basin to its existing depth back in the mid 50's.
