Dear Mr. Richter and Mr. Collins,,
The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Mattituck Fire District has contacted the Southold
Town Board and the Southold Town Highway Department on anumber of occasions in
reference to the problem of the rainwater runoff from the Southold Town Parking on Pike
Street on to the property of the Mattituck Fire District..:"
The rainwater runoff is filling-the Mattituck Fire District parking lot drywells with silt and
debris, and damaging the landscaping on the western property line. 11so it makes a general
mess of the parking.area.
We have been told lhere>.are plans in'progress to address this problem, please advise the
Board of Fire Commissioners of the scope and timeline of the project in:writing by the their
next meeting on April 1 1t 2017.
