Dear Ms. Hansen-Hightower:
I am pleased to report that the Town Board of the Town of Southold has
authorized me to engage your services as a consultant to assist the Town of Southold:
Y Your services shall be to provide consulting with regarding to running the
Accounting Department.
a The compensation to you shall be on an hourly basis at the rate of$76,92 per
hour,
6 The consulting services required of you under this agreement will commence June
19, 2017 and will continue on an as needed basis for a term not to exceed three (3)
months.
o Either party may terminate this agreement at any time, for any reason, without
liability to the other party,to the extent permitted by law,
It is expressly understood that you will provide consulting services under this
agreement as an independent contractor and that this agreement shall not give rise
to an employment or agency relationship between you and the Town.
