has reviewed the above captioned matter and has determined
that no permit is required as this is a repair of the
existing structure.

Maintenance repairs on
existing fOOt bridge over
wetlands, inlet Lane
Gentlemen:
Upon request to renew liability home owners
insurance an inspection of the property was made.
The insurance inspector required that the footbridge
be reinforced, repaired and a railing be added.
Until such time the insurance policy would be voided.
The owner Dr. &Macy, M.D.called in a contractor
who started repairs to the extent of satisfying the
Insurance Co. for the present~ to hold the policy
pro~ection.. More work is required so this request
for determination of permit necessity is brought to
your attention.
Enclosed is a picture of the bridge in its
present condition to help in your judgment. Thel old
structure exists under the new work. More attention
is required. Is a permit necessary to comp!ete~ ~s

completion. This work will be held uo u~il your
