Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 Telephone (516) 765-1892 Fax (516) 765-1823 August 28, 1996 Eh-Consultants Inc. 1329 North Sea Road Southampton, NY 11968 Re: JOHN LYNCH SCTM ~78-2-28 Dear Mr. ~aje, The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on August 28, 1996, regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, JOHN LYNCH, applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under ~ne provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town Of Southotd, application dated May 31, 1996, and, WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southotd Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recon~nendations, and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on August 28, 1996, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, ~ne Board members have personally viewed ~nd are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 97-18 of the Southoid Town Code, ~REAS, the Board has determined ~nat the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NC~-~qEREFOREBE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board ol Trustees approves the application of $O~2~LYNCH to construct a 120 1.f. of low profile timber bulkhead with (2) 8' returns, dredge area around dock as per new drawing dated 8/6/96. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be conside=ed a determination made for any other Department or Agency which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date it Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit six months of the date of this notification.
