into a compliant dock under current standards,provided all the following are adhered to and no construction
takes place until authorized by the Trustee's Clerk:
All loose catwalk sections,ramp and float are to be secured onsite above the wetland zoneand maintained
o`U uil replacements/repairs installed and inspected by a representative of the Board to protect the marsh,prevent
navigation hazards,preserve inspectiol and dock rights under existing permits.
2)Frank L,.ie+xi;or son,JohnJ_ieari,under duthority of POA(copy to be provided)must provide a confirming
plan and contract from a recognized dock builder that must include the following specifications; no work is to
proceed without confirmation from the Trustee Clerk:
A.Catwalk 36"wide of"Thru-Flo"or equivalent to be 30"minimum above MHW.
B.All outside dimensions and float must match Permits#293,367
C.Seaward most point of float must be staked and inspected by a representative of the Board.If too shallow
and additional catwalk needed to achieve sufficient depth as determined by inspection,an permit amendment
with a completed application will be necessary.
D.All piles above MHW in the Spartina grass must be"non-toxic"4"diameter/4"X4"or less.
E.All piles in water to be 6"or less...non-toxic.
F.Tie lines stabilizing float depicted in existing permits are no longer an accepted practice as they block the
foreshore from other riparian users.Two,single,8"piles,installed butt end down on opposite ends of the float
are the maximum allowed to secure the float for this site.
G.Fees of$150 are to be submitted to the Trustee Office to cover administrative and two additional
inspections costs(staking&final);additional inspections at$50.each.
H.A larger float,up to the current maximum allowed 6'X20'or the need to locate any part of the structure
substantially seaward to secure adequate depths,based on inspection,will require a full administrative
amendment permit application.

-John Licari came in today about a dock on his father's property located at
385 Orchard Lane, Southold, SCTM# 89-2-6. 1 found an old dock permit,
but then he showed me pictures of what is left of the dock from after Super
Storm Sandy. I thought that 'the rebuild would be over 75% of existing.
advised him that he should apply for a new wetland permit as the dock has
been non-functional for-several years and appeared to need more than
75% of work.
He is trying to find a way to rebuild this dock without applying for any new
permits for his dad who will be 100 in January. As he was trying to
question the 75% rule as well as the non-functional 'rule with me, I .decided
to have him speak with you as I thought perhaps you should go out to see
the dock.
The permit and plans are attached. John Licari's cell # is 631-335-6533.
He is around next week, but then away for a few months; until May I think
he said.
If you have time, please give him a call regarding this.

Trustee Charles Sanders revealed that thru-flow decking was not used on the catwalk, which
was a requirement of the agreement signed by you dated December 29, 2016.
As such you have agreed that you will install the thru-flow decking on the catwalk, and this office
has agreed to a six (6) month extension of time for you to do so.
Please countersign a copy of this letter and return to the undersigned at your earliest
convenience, indicating your acceptance of the terms of this letter.

The validity of this permit is or may be subject to the approval of other governmental or municipal
authorities. The Town accepts no responsibility in applying for or obtaining such approval. Inthe
event that such approval is necessary, the holder of this permit shall not commence operations here-
under until such approval has been obtained in writing. The failure to obtain such other approval when
required shall subject this permit to immediate revocation by the Trustees upon receipt by the
Trustees. of written notice from such other governmental or municipal authorities of its refusal or
disapproval.
The applicant does by the acceptance of this permit, assume all responsibility for operations under-
taken pursuant to-this permit, and shall take all precautions for the prevention of injuries to persons
and property resulting from such operations. By such acceptance,the applicant also agrees to indemni-
fy and save harmless the Town, and its officers, agents and employees from any and all claims arising
from operations under this permit and any and all acts or omissions of applicant, his agent and
employees.
The applicant and the owner and occupants of the premises upon which the operations authorized by
this permit are being conducted, do, by the acceptance of this permit, give consent to the Town, and
its officersand employees to enter upon the premises where such operations are being conducted to
make such inspections as the Town may deem necessary to insure that such operations are being con-
ducted in conformity with this permit.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

2. Repairs to existing structures shall be limited to replacement of

The following action was taken by the Board of Trustees-
regarding your wetland application on May 29, 1986 .
Moved by Trustee Smith seconded by Trustee Larsen
WHEREAS, Frank Licari applied to the Southold Town Trustees
for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of
the 'Town of Southold, application dated February 20, 1966, and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect
to said application on May 29, 1986 at which time all interested
persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar
with the premises in question and the surrounding area; and
WHEREAS, the Board considered all testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application; and it is noted for the
record that there has been no public opposition; and
WHEREAS the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health, safety, and general welfare of the people
of the Town,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that Frank Licari be granted permission under the provisions
of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, New York for the
construction of a 3 ' x 30 ' walk, 12 ' x 3 ' ramp and a 16 ' x 6 ' float
in Dryad' s Basin, Southold. This permit will expire on May 29, 1987
if the work has not commenced by said date. The Trustees are to be
notified upon completion of the project.
