The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of Trustees at tlicir Regular
Meeting held on Wednesday, June 26, 2002:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the Waiver to erect a fence
in order to protect the property prior to and during the demolition of the buildings because the
Town has instituted an unsafe building action on the property. „
This is not an Approval from any other agency.

RE: Request for waiver
The Town has instituted an unsafe building action on property located at the
south end of Shipyard Lane, East Marion, known as the "Oyster Factory".
The property owner has responded, and is seeking a demolition permit for the
structures located there. Portions of the project will require approvals from the
Trustees and DEC. In the interim, it is requested, in the interest of public safety,
to permit a fence to be erected to protect the property prior to and during
demolition. It is requested that the Trustees grant a waiver for such a fence as
soon as possible, the full project should be prepared for your approval by the
next meeting.
