SCTM ~1000-113-6-8
Dear Mrs. Beckstein:
Enclosed please find the letter dated May 1, 1992 stating the
approval for an addition of a 6' X 20' float_to existing dock.
The "L" shaped dock referred to in the letter of February 28,
1992 was not applied for.
Therefore a fee of $240.00 for the 6' X 20' float only was due
and paid in full.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Sincerely,

Re: Laskin Dock
Dear Mr. Haje:
The Southold Town Trustees visited the site of this proposed
reconfiguration only to fin6 a structure larger than originally
permitted. As our original authorization was for a straight
dock with a single 6' X 20' float and did not include the "L",
an additional fee is now payable of $2.00/square foot or a total
of $240.00 for the second float.
This Board may process this apparently illegal expansion prior
to considering the straight configuration you request only upon
submission of the above $240.00 fee + the $70.00 in amendment
fees.
In addition, in order to ascertain navigational needs are being
protected, we will need to see soundings taken across the creek
at the locus of the dock and at not more than 10' (ten foot)
intervals apart. These soundings must be taken at mean low
water or other referenced depth and must be placed on a scale
drawing of the proposed amendment.
Absent submission of the above referenced fees, the Board may
refer this matter to the Bay Constable for enforcement of the
apparently unauthorized addition to this dock which may be in
violation of Chapter 97 and 32 of the Town Code.
V~ry truly yours,
John M. Bredemeyer, III
