Dear Trustees,
The Nassau PointPropertyOwners Associatiom-is considering some improvements to our
Causeway Beach located at the entrance of Nassau Point on Nassau Point Road,,next to the-
Town of Southold beach._Beforeproceeding,we.would-like-to request a"pre-submission
inspection" of our proposed project., It is our understanding that the.trustee_s will be visiting
various locations on March,14.
Iwill be available to join the trustees to,explain the project along with Donna Mayne (cell 9,
809-3902) and,Jack DiP_aola(cett516-650-2230). We are all members of the NPPOA boar(
By means of this letter we grant the trustees the necessary-permission to go on the,property,
question, the Causeway Beach. Also enclosed,i_s a check for$50 payable to the Town of
Southold-to cover�the cost of the inspection.
For your information,the board is'looking to increase the amount of sand at the beach-by eii
dredging'or trucking in.a sufficient amount of sand to cover the badly eroded beach.-
Additionally;we would like to site,a gazebo;benches and picnic tables-on the property on tl
other side of the parking lot, away from.the beach. This project is still in_,its-early stages but
would appreciate the trustees''views and input before proceeding.
