A duplicate of this permit must be continuously posted during the event. This permit is granted as applied for,based on information supplied in the application. There are several conditions written into the permit. Please be aware that under the State Fire Code,the number of persons occupying the building and/or tent area is limited. The use of a tent will require an application and approvals at least three days before the event, from the Building Department. A Town Building Inspector must inspect the tent, before occupancy,they can be reached at 765-1802 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. This permit does not authorize parking on Suffolk County Right of Way located in front of the property or any lands owned by County of Suffolk, Town of Southold or Pecome Land Trust. All parking and traffic controls are the responsibilities of the event operators, and their agents. Note that parking on any County or State Roads are not authorized under this permit. Any violations of this permit can be cause for revocation. Regarding the number of attendees we are expecting,the original permit application indicates approximately 75 people.There has been a low signup for this event to date, and we feel the number of attendees will be significantly lower,in the 40 to 50 range. Attached is a revised site plan showing the NSWF's parking area. Because there is construction going on,a chain link fence in place,which means a small portion of this existing parking area will not be available for this event. However, the portion available as seen on the attached site plan for the event, measures 60 x 140 feet.This should allow parking foi- 27-28 cars, l hope the information included herein resolves any open issues for this event and appreciate any help you can provide in expediting the issuance of a permit as soon as possible. Neville,Town Clerk Town of Southold 53095 Main Road-PO Box 1179 Southold,NY 11971 Dear Ms. Neville, The New Suffolk Waterfront Fund,Inc.,will be holding a"Happy Hour at the Waterfront"fundraising event on Saturday,July 18th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.Overflow parking for this event was to have been at the New Suffolk School Ball Field. However,at the New Suffolk School Board meeting this past Tuesday night,the Board authorized work to commence on the Ball Field renovating the Base Ball Diamond and rejuvenating the outfield and this work will begin in early July, prohibiting our use of the Field for overflow parking for any events held at the Waterfront.
