The Southold Town Board of Trustees has visited the property as noted above and has
determined that your project to raise the existing dwelling is located within our Wetland
jurisdiction.
Therefore, in accordance with the current Wetlands Code (Chapter 275) and the
Coastal Erosion Hazard Area (Chapter 111) a permit is required.

Hi Elizabeth,
As per our conversation, I will need a letter from your office officially stating that a Wet Lands permit is
required.
Your building application in question 15 states a permit "may" be required. I need a definitive yes or no and if
yes,then why is required.
This is for a NY Rising project and the Governor's office requires proper substantiation for taking the next steps
with the Town in the permitting process.
