Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 Telephone (516) 765-1892 Fax (516) 765-1823 May 26, 1995, Samuels & Steelman 25235 Main Road Cutchogue NY 11935 Re: THEMIS KAROUSOS SCTM ~30-2-66 Dear Mr. Samuels, The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on May 25, 1995 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, Samuels & Steelman Architects, on behalf of THEMIS KAROUSOS, applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated April 7, 1995, and, WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on May 25, 1995, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surroUnding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this apDlication, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of Samuels & Steelm~n,on behalf of THEMIS K~ROUSOS to construct a 4' X 6' landing at top of bluff with stairs to beach as per drawing dated May 19, 1995. Located: 1460 The Strand, East Marion. Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.
