Dear Mr. Kaplan:
The following action was taken at the Southold Town Board of Trustees regular meeting
held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the request for a
Transfer of Wetland Permit#1808 from Robert Kaplan to David J. Kaplan, as issued on
April 30, 1984.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Dear Diane:
I am writing to the Southold Town Board of Trustees to request the transfer of Dock Permit No. 1808,
which was issued to my father,Robert Kaplan on April 30, 1984, into my name. My father passed away
in 2003,my mother passed away in 2020 and I now own the property located at 1700 Inlet Way, Southold
NY 11971.
I have enclosed herewith a copy of the Dock Permit along with a copy of the original application for the
dock permit which includes a diagram showing the location of the dock and a sketch of the dock.

5 ~ That the work involved will be subject to the inspection and approval of the Board or
it~ agents, and non-compilance with the provisions of the originating application, may be cause for
revocation of this Permit by resolution of the said Board.
6. That there will be no unreasonable interference with navigation as a result of the work
herein authorized.
7. That there' shall be no interference with the fight of the public to pass and repass along
the beach between high and low water marks.
8. That if future operations of the Town of Southold require the removal and/or alterations
in the location of the work herein authorized, or fi, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, the
work shall cause unreasonable obstrucaon to free navigation, the said Permit:tee will be required,
upon due notice, to remove or alter this work or project herein stated without expenses to the Town
of Southold.
9. That the said Board will be notified by the Permittee ot the completion of the work auth-
orb. ed. (See tear off sheet.)
10. That the Permittee will obtain all other permits and consents that may be required sup-
plemental ro this permit which may be subject to revoke upon failure to obtain same.

The Board of Directors of Cedar Beach Park
Association, Inc. has approved the design, location,
and installation of Dr. Kaplan's catwalk in Pleasant
Inlet of Cedar Beach Creek.
This catwalk has been used by Dr. Kaplan
since about 1972 for tying up an outboard skiff,
Now that the season is approaching, our
Association will contact our summer residents about
theTown Board's Survey Program and urge them to
register.
