Dear Mr. Kadlic:
It has come to our attention that you may shortly be planning to
conduct activities on your property at the above referenced lot
of Long Pond Estates which would require a Town Wetlands permit
pursuant to Chapter 97 of the Town Code.
Please be advised that any activity; including but nor limited
to: cutting, dredging, filling, dock, swimming pool, home and or
accessory building construction within 75 feet of the landward
most portion of any tidal and or freshwater wetlands must get a
permit or waiver from the Board of Trustees prior to undertaking
such activity.
If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to
contact this office.

Dear Ms. Thorpe:
I spoke with you today about Building Lot #2 (Section 52, Block 8)
on Long Creek Drive in Southold. You told me that so far as you
could ascertain, neither Edward Kadlic (the present owner) nor
Jeffrey Forchelli (the previous owner) had received perm~.'ssion
from the Town of Southold to fill in the marsh on that land and
build a house on the fill. You also expressed an intention to
write to Mr. Kadiic concerning Town regulations, with a copy to
be sent to me.
During our conversation you mentioned that at some time in the past
someone started to fill in that marsh but was restrained and made
to restore ito My husband and I would very much like to have, in
writing, the details of that situation. Could you send them to
me, or give me the name of a person who could provide them? We
would greatly appreciate it.
